Permissionless Contract Deployment on Matrix Market
Today, Matrix Market released their free permissionless collection creation tool. Create your own NFT collections in a matter of minutes!
Pre-requisite (Blocto wallet or Lillico Wallet)
You’re required to install an extension and create an account for a Blocto or Lillico wallet if have not done it already, if you already have a wallet, then you can connect to it.
Creating a Collection
Matrix Market has made it super easy for users to create their NFT collection in a matter of minutes, no matter their technical background. Here are a few simple steps to make your collection listed on Matrix Market. First, click the “create” button and choose the “Create Collection” option under the collection label.
Once you click the “Create Collection” option, a new window will pop up as shown below, and you need to fill in all the required information such as collection name, description, royalties, etc. The details for each attribute of a collection are given below.
Required information for Collection Creation
1. Name
Please make sure that there is no space in the name of your collection at creation time as the collection name will be added to the end of your contract, but you can edit after creation and can have space.
2. Description
The description will be included on the item’s detail page underneath its image.
3. Category
Choose your collection category from the available options, this will help better discover your items on Matrix Market. The available categories on Matrix Market are the following:

▹Anime
▹Music
▹Sports
▹Domains
▹Games
▹Fashion
▹PFP
▹Others
4. Royalties (Optional)
NFT royalties are payments that compensate original NFT creators for ongoing sales of their non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Matrix Market lets users set royalties for an unlimited amount of wallet addresses.
5. Links (Optional)
Matrix Market allows NFT creators to add their social media channels (Instagram, Discord, Twitter, Medium) and website links to their collection, if the users want to have more information about a collection, they can reach the project using these links, which are displayed on your collection page
6. Logo Image
An NFT creator needs to upload a logo image for its collection and it will be shown on the landing page of the Matrix Market as shown below.
7. Featured Image
The featured image will be used for featuring your collection on the homepage, category pages, or other promotional areas. The recommended size for the feature image is 600 x 400.
8. Banner Image
This image will appear at the top of your collection page. We suggest you avoid including too much text in the banner image, as the dimensions change on different devices. The recommended size for the banner image is 1400 x 400.
Edit Collection
Once you have created your collection you can edit the name, description, category, royalties, links, featured image, and/or banner image for your collection anytime. For that, you need to visit, My Profile -> Collections -> Choose a collection that you want to edit, and start editing your collection.
View Collection
To view any of the collections you have created, you simply click on your profile picture and then “My Profile”. From here a new window will open with options such as Listed, Owned, Created, Collection, Favorited, and Activity. After selecting the Collection tab all of your created collections will be listed, as shown above.
